Description
The Next Generation of Thermal Imaging Has Arrived.
The NOCPIX MICRO 2 ULTRA takes thermal imaging to an entirely new level with an industry-first 1280×960 thermal sensor packed into an incredibly compact, versatile design. Built as a true 4-in-1 thermal platform, the MICRO 2 ULTRA functions as a helmet-mounted monocular, thermal clip-on, handheld scanner, or dedicated thermal weapon sight, giving hunters the flexibility to adapt to virtually any nighttime hunting situation.
As the smallest 1280-resolution thermal optic on the market and the first 1280 thermal monocular designed for helmet mounting, the MICRO 2 ULTRA delivers exceptional image quality without the bulk typically associated with high-resolution thermal devices.
Featuring an ultra-wide field of view, advanced low-latency processing, a premium AMOLED display, and innovative dual-unit connectivity, the MICRO 2 ULTRA is engineered for hunters who demand outstanding clarity, versatility, and performance.
Industry-Leading 1280×960 Thermal Resolution
At the heart of the MICRO 2 ULTRA is a powerful 1280×960 thermal sensor, capturing four times the pixels of the previous RH25 V2’s 640×480 sensor. This significant improvement provides exceptional thermal detail, sharper target identification, and improved image quality at higher digital magnification.
Paired with a stunning 2560×2560 circular AMOLED display, the MICRO 2 ULTRA delivers nearly 4.7 times the display pixels of the RH25 V2’s 1440×1080 display. The result is an incredibly sharp, detailed thermal image that makes it easier to distinguish animals, identify heat signatures, and observe fine details in challenging environments.
Ultra-Wide Field of View for Maximum Awareness
The MICRO 2 ULTRA features an impressive 34.2° × 25.9° field of view, providing approximately twice the horizontal and vertical viewing angles of many traditional helmet-mounted thermal optics.
This expansive viewing area allows hunters to scan more terrain with less head movement, making it ideal for navigating in darkness, tracking moving targets, and maintaining situational awareness.
With a field of view approaching the approximately 40° viewing angle of a PVS-14 night vision monocular, the MICRO 2 ULTRA is also an excellent option for thermal binocular and dual-band thermal/night vision configurations.
True 4-in-1 Thermal Versatility
One optic. Four ways to hunt.
The MICRO 2 ULTRA adapts to your setup with four operating configurations:
- Helmet-Mounted Monocular: Enjoy hands-free thermal observation with an ultra-wide field of view and smooth image performance.
- Thermal Clip-On: Convert a compatible daytime optic into a thermal imaging system while retaining familiar shooting controls.
- Handheld Scanner: Quickly scan fields, tree lines, and hunting areas to locate heat signatures without shouldering a rifle.
- Dedicated Thermal Weapon Sight: Use customizable reticles, adjustable brightness, and app-based zeroing for standalone thermal aiming.
Whether you’re hunting hogs, calling coyotes, scouting property, or building a helmet-mounted thermal setup, the MICRO 2 ULTRA provides the flexibility to handle multiple applications with one device.
Enhanced Clip-On Performance – Supports Up to 10× Day Optics
The MICRO 2 ULTRA significantly improves clip-on capability, supporting compatible daytime optics from 1× to 10× magnification, compared to the RH25 V2’s maximum of 6×.
Its high-resolution 1.03-inch AMOLED display helps maintain a detailed thermal image through higher-magnification day optics.
An improved clip-on interface keeps important information, including battery status, zero settings, and operating modes, visible without obstructing the target area.
The updated zeroing system also includes three independent zeroing profiles with numerical adjustment values, allowing hunters to save settings for different rifles or optic configurations.
Dual-Link Technology – Build a Thermal Binocular System
The innovative Dual-Link system allows two MICRO 2 ULTRA units to pair together and operate as a synchronized thermal binocular system.
Once connected, one unit acts as the master controller, allowing users to adjust menus, color palettes, image settings, and digital magnification across both devices.
This streamlined system makes the MICRO 2 ULTRA an excellent choice for hunters building advanced helmet-mounted thermal binocular configurations.
Optimized for Thermal & Night Vision Fusion
The MICRO 2 ULTRA introduces specialized NV Highlight and NV Outline modes, designed to improve compatibility with dual-band thermal and night vision setups.
These dedicated viewing modes simplify thermal imagery by reducing unnecessary background heat information.
NV Highlight emphasizes relevant thermal signatures, while NV Outline presents heat sources as clean outlines, allowing night vision to provide environmental detail while thermal imaging highlights potential targets.
The result is a more balanced viewing experience when combining thermal and traditional night vision.
FastEngine Processing & Ultra-Low Latency
Smooth image performance is essential when navigating, scanning, or tracking moving targets.
The MICRO 2 ULTRA features advanced FastEngine low-latency architecture designed to substantially reduce image delay compared with conventional 1280-resolution thermal systems.
Combined with a 60Hz refresh rate, the system provides smooth, responsive thermal imaging during movement.
A fast 0.1-second shutter further minimizes interruptions and image artifacts, helping maintain a more consistent viewing experience.
1× Native Magnification with 8× Digital Zoom
The MICRO 2 ULTRA starts with 1× base magnification, providing a natural, wide viewing perspective ideal for helmet-mounted use and handheld scanning.
When additional detail is needed, the system offers up to 8× digital zoom, allowing hunters to take a closer look at distant heat signatures.
Smooth zoom transitions make magnification adjustments feel more natural while helping maintain visual awareness of the surrounding area.
Picture-in-Picture for Precision Aiming
When operating as a standalone thermal weapon sight, the MICRO 2 ULTRA offers Picture-in-Picture (PIP) functionality.
This feature opens a magnified viewing window around the target and reticle while keeping the full field of view visible in the background.
Hunters can maintain awareness of their surroundings while gaining a closer view of the aiming area.
Customizable reticles, adjustable reticle brightness, and app-based zeroing provide additional flexibility for different hunting conditions and rifle setups.
Wireless Remote Control
The included wireless remote allows users to manage essential functions without reaching for the optic.
Control recording, adjust display brightness, navigate menus, and change digital magnification using the convenient scroll wheel.
This is especially useful when operating the MICRO 2 ULTRA on a rifle, helmet, or tripod-mounted setup.
Advanced Power Management
The MICRO 2 ULTRA is designed to maximize battery efficiency during extended nighttime use.
Its intelligent power management system includes:
- True Sleep Mode: Places the device into an ultra-low-power state when not in use.
- Flip-to-Standby: Automatically enters standby when a helmet-mounted unit is flipped out of position.
- Power-Saving Mode: Extends operating time to approximately 6 hours using a single 18650 battery.
Cold-weather battery performance is rated down to -40°F, making the MICRO 2 ULTRA suitable for demanding winter hunting conditions.
High-Resolution Recording & 64GB Storage
Capture your nighttime hunts with improved video recording and generous onboard storage.
The MICRO 2 ULTRA supports 1280×960 video recording, delivering significantly more recorded image detail than the RH25 V2’s 768×576 recording resolution.
With 64GB of internal storage, hunters have plenty of room to save thermal footage and memorable encounters in the field.
Rugged, Compact & Built for the Field
Despite its advanced 1280-resolution imaging system, the MICRO 2 ULTRA maintains an exceptionally compact design suited for helmet mounting, handheld scanning, and rifle applications.
Its IP67 protection rating provides resistance to dust and water exposure, helping ensure dependable operation in challenging outdoor environments.
