2026 Hunting After Dark Coyote Bash

Hello Hunters!
Please review the weigh-in instructions carefully and follow the map provided.
⚠️ WEIGH-IN DEADLINE
* You MUST be in line by 12:00 PM sharp.
* Not 12:01. Not 12:00:30.
* Anyone arriving after 12:00 PM will be DISQUALIFIED.
* No exceptions will be made.
WEIGH-IN PROCEDURE
* We will NOT pre-weigh animals for you.
* You must have your stringer and/or side pot dogs fully ready when you enter the line.
* Be prepared and efficient so we can keep the line moving.
DIRECTIONS (FOLLOW EXACTLY), see map
1. Enter from Highway 95 at Double K Drive-In / Gas Station at Hill St.
2. Follow the dirt road around the bend, staying along the railroad tracks.
3. Cross Travis St heading toward the silos.
4. Turn LEFT on Center St.
5. This will bring you to the backside of our new store located at
101 S Franklin St., Holland, TX.
6. Weigh-in will take place at the EXIT of the parking lot.
7. After weighing, drive straight out to Highway 95.
8. Turn RIGHT on 95, then take your immediate RIGHT on E Leon St (by our old location).
9. Park anywhere along the caliche roads.
Please arrive early, follow the map, and be ready. These procedures are in place to ensure a fair and efficient weigh-in for everyone. We will be set up by no later than 10:00 to start weighing in.
If you're not weighing in, you can still join the raffle.

2026 Hunting After Dark Coyote Bash
Hunting begins at 12 Noon on February 7th.
Weigh-in is the following Sunday, Feb. 8th, at 12:00 SHARP at Feral Texas Outdoors (101 S. Franklin St., Holland, TX).
Failure to make weigh-in by 12 noon SHARP will result in disqualification.
CLOSED **** Entry fee is $250.00 per team, Cash/Check/Venmo ONLY, up to 4 members per team.
Need NOT to be present Saturday if registered early for hunt.
Stringer Rules:
- Main pot will be determined by heaviest stringer.
- Stringer will consist of the Heaviest 3 Coyotes
- Winning team will be subject to a polygraph.
- Teams are responsible for picking their 3 heaviest, we will not weigh more than 3!!
- Side pots will be: Heaviest Male Coyote, Heaviest Female Coyote, and Most Coyotes
- Tie breaker will be the team with the most coyotes.
General Rules:
- No use of Aircrafts or Dogs
- Trolling is allowed but animal must respond to a call.
- The use of alcohol or intoxicating / mind altering substances is prohibited during tournament hours, even if the team has weighed in.
- All Teams are responsible for removal and disposal of their animals in a legal manner.
- No pooling of animals between teams.
- No hunting over baited areas.
- Absolutely no splitting up!!! All team members must hunt together at all times.
- All animals must be killed within the 24 hour hunting contest time period.
- Thermal and Night vision IS allowed.
- Must follow all county, state and federal hunting laws. If you break the law, your team will be disqualified. Texas Hunting license is encouraged to have
- 4 team members max!
- All team members must be present on Sunday in order to claim prize money. No exceptions!!
- No trapped, snared, caged raised, or frozen animals will be allowed. Animals will be checked for freshness!
- No modifying the weight of animals in any way. We will not weigh in wet animals!
- Decisions by judges are FINAL! (Judges will be participating in the contest)
- Polygraph tests will be given to winning teams! Failure to pass polygraph will result in immediate disqualification.
- Team captain will be responsible for taking polygraph test.
- Failure to check in with judges on Sunday by 12:00 sharp at Holland Park with your teammates will result in immediate disqualification of your team! NO exceptions!
- All entries must be paid by 12:00 noon Saturday. NO refunds will be given after 12 noon on Saturday!
- You may hunt anywhere in the state of Texas only!
- You may have a landowner with you while on his land, but the landowner may not shoot.
- Rules are subject to change without further notification!
- Judges, contestants and/or anyone affiliated with this contest are not responsible in the event of an accident and/or laws broken by a contestant or team.
- High fence properties are allowed only if the purpose of the high fence is NOT to keep predators.
- The Feral Texas Outdoors is not responsible for any accidents or injuries on city park property.
